Beauty care and cosmetic products have acquired an industry status, with the modern world paying more and more attention to looking young and beautiful. The skin care industry had never had it so good and they are having a hard time keeping up with the challenges of a demanding society. So, now there are innumerable products that are meant to help people retain their youthfulness and looks. From the simple apply at home products to specialized ones they are all there waiting to be picked.

Botox is used a lot by people these days. However, this treatment has to be taken from a dermatologist. Botox is in great demand because it freezes the facial muscles that cause wrinkle formation.  The result of one injection of Botox is designed to last for six months after which more doses may be required.  It is priced at the higher end with a single shot costing about $300 to $500. Apart from the price, many women are not happy with the facial paralysis and loss of expression that accompanies Botox treatment.

An alternative to Botox is Restylane, which also is to be administered by a dermatologist. By injecting this clear gel into wrinkled areas of the face, they can be plumped out. It is even employed to plump the lips. It is similar in price to Botox and its effect also lasts the same duration however; with fewer adverse effects it is preferred more by many women.

Not everyone can afford the costs of these professional treatments. For them there are home treatments that are designed to help retain young and radiant skin. microdermabrasion is fairly common these days and kits are offered by Neutrogena and L`Oreal among others. As the name suggests, the process includes sloughing off the dead skin that gives a dull appearance and revealing fresh skin. It is recommended to use the kit on a weekly basis and to incorporate it into a regular skin care routine, for younger and radiant skin.

Most skin care products are topical in nature. However, nowadays there is no dearth of orally administered ones. Vitamins and supplements that claim to restore younger looking skin abound on store shelves. The Borba Company produces water and gummy bears, which are supposed to make the skin more beautiful.

Sephora superstore is the place to shop for Borba products. Here, you will also find Cr่me de la Mer which is a hot favorite among the rich and famous because it is said to be a remarkable wrinkle care cream. However, its price- $100 and above for a little jar could deter most women. At the same time, for beautiful skin there are many women who are prepared to pay through their nose. After all, good looks make you feel great and confident.
